Teachers will learn how to implement the Read-Stop-React Routine\, DRTA (Directed Reading-Thinking Activity)\, Coding the Text\, Quick Writes\, and Fishbowl Discussion with any complex text — whether informational\, narrative\, scientific\, or historical.  Participants will engage in each strategy as learners\, unpack the instructional moves behind them\, and plan how to apply them with their own students. By the end of the session\, teachers will gain practical tools and routines that deepen student understanding and elevate academic discourse. \n\n\nEducators will receive 5.5 reading in-service points.\nTraining takes place from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST\, with a half-hour lunch.\nCost:  $149/teacher
