AI Tools For Mathematics: Tips to Enhance Instruction

Training Description:

In this session, participants will explore practical ways to use AI tools to support mathematics instruction.  Educators will examine free and low-cost platforms that enhance lesson design, visualization, differentiation, and assessment, while also supporting students with immediate feedback, guided problem solving, and personalized learning.  The session includes demonstrations of tools such as Desmos and GeoGebra, teacher-focused platforms like TeacherMade, Diffit, and MagicSchool AI, and student-facing tools including: Photomath, Symbolab, Wolfram Alpha, Khanmigo, and MathGPT. Emphasis is placed on ethical, classroom-ready AI integration that strengthens mathematical understanding, promotes student independence, and reduces teacher workload without requiring district purchases or advanced technical expertise. 

• Educators will receive 5.5 in-service points.
• Training takes place from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST, with a half-hour lunch.
• Cost:  $149/teacher
